My name is Suzy- I’m 33 years old. Nice to meet you!
I live in Northern Ireland with my partner of twelve years, and our two gorgeous children. We also have a cat, who is huge, fat, ginger and utterly lacking in both brainpower and guile. I work in the telecoms industry as an engineering controller.
I’m not really trying to achieve anything with my blog- it’s really just a diary so I can keep track of my life, and also keep my friends, who are becoming increasingly scattered around the world, up to speed with what is going on with me and my little family!
My partner, Ian, works in IT. My kids are called Ricky, born in January ’05, and kind of high maintenance, and Robbie, born May ’07, who is sunny and gorgeous, but no better a sleeper than his big brother was! The cat, Max, is a total numpty but very sweet!
Biog- I was born in Belfast and lived there until August 2007, when we moved to Ballygowan in a bid to get more house for our money. I have a degree in psychology. I have overeating and overdrinking issues! I love to cook. I have two retired horses called Morning and Carly. I evented and showed them extensively when we were all younger, and miss riding them. Ian and I have been friends since we were 14, but I only finally pounced on him when we were 20, and I don’t regret it! 🙂
My family are very important to me. My Mum sadly passed away in October 2007, and I am missing her a lot. My Dad is the most amazing, wonderful person I know. I have two brothers called Marty and Brian, to whom I am very close, even though we all make each other crazy!
I’ve been diagnosed with breast cancer as of July 2008, but have no doubt that I will send it packing in double quick time!
Hi Suz,
Sorry about this but, you might want to remove clustrmaps from your blog. It makes me sick that they aret rying to make a buck from your bad luck….
Love, Marty
Marty, it doesn’t bother me and I like having it there. The vast majority of people wouldn’t even look at the advertising- which, yes, at the moment is in bad taste, but I like seeing who is looking at my blog, even though it only shows about a third of the real picture…thanks for caring, you’re a wonderful brother. I am sorry it has upset you- hugs.
Hey Suzy,
Like your attitude! I have no doubt you will send it packing in double quick time, as you said. Many had been afflicted with these cells and had contained the spread. With your disposition and our prayers you will be one of these happy people.
Never give up!MY neighbour has been operated planty yrs ago and she still in good condition..that’s true that ‘s onle depends on your own mind ,prayers and love witch you ‘ve got ..You are strong!

Hi Suzy
Just stumbled over your blog page and immediately liked it when you described your house as a shit heap. I live in Devon but come originally from Longford, Southern Ireland. I too have had a bit of hassle with cancer over several years and at one point was pretty much written off but my attitude was ‘sod that for a lark’ I have two sons to raise and they need me. Now they are 35 and 31 and pretty awesome guys. So much for a medical prognosis . Anyway will look in on your blog on and off. Good luck.
