What a great idea, perfect recommended reading list. We have really similar reading tastes btw. Rebecca is my all time favourite.

I HIGHLY recommend The Time Traveller’s Wife by Audrey Niffenegger. It’s an original, beautiful, audacious novel and it was also recommended by a friend of mine so I feel good about passing it on to those who haven’t read it.

I bought The Time Travellers wife ages ago and have been meaning to read it ever since. I keep forgetting about it, I’m glad you mentioned it.

I was really pleased to see this list as it made me feel more cultured than before reading it. I normally read crime books & the odd novel, but actually have read many of the titles on this list. Also nice to have your blog return to more pleasant/neutral entries. These little installments about Northern Irish life really sustain me as I live in England but am from the North.

Thanks for your comment, Kate. I hope that most of my blog is pleasant and neutral, though I know there is one exception which is pretty much the bain of my life! 😀 Thanks for reading and for taking the time to comment!

What a great list!! Sadly, there are many “classics” on it which I have yet to read!
